Week 1: June 15th - June 19th Theme: A Walk in the Woods - “I will treat all living things with care”. Do you dare touch a snake? Learn about creatures in our environment that are safe to explore and those that could be harmful. Week 2: June 22nd - June 26th Theme: Tie Dye Parties - “I will never seek advantage of those who are weaker”. Make your own Tie-Dye T-Shirt. This is a hands on project, so wear your old clothes! Week 3: June 29th - July 3rd Theme: Mad Science! - “I will be loyal to my country”. Last year, we had a great time with Mad Science when the introduced their NASA Program to the public! Learn the wonders of space & see the principles of propulsion with a real rocket launch! Week 4:July 6th - July 10th Theme: Matthews Fire Dept./Jesse, Explosives Dectection Canine.-“I will love my family and cooperate with them”. Learn about fire prevention and gun safety.
Week 5: July 13th - July 17th Theme: Mad Science - “I will be faithful to my friends”. Spin, Pop, Boom! Physics, Chemistry, Spinning Centrifugal Forces, Color Mixing, Flaming Didgeridoos & Chemical Reactions!!! WOW! Week 6: July 20th - July 24th Theme: White Rock Art Studio- “I will always finish what I start”. Last year we introduced this new field trip and it was won over by the campers. Campers get to throw a clay pot on a spinning wheel! All campers will get to take a pot home with them.
